Daytona Beach Shores Real Estate
Daytona Beach Shores is located on a peninsula in the Atlantic Ocean that contains the world famous beach where speed records were continuously set and broken by auto racers. It sits atop a barrier reef, and boasts of some of the best amenities, attractions, and accommodations on the coast of Florida.
This peninsula is only about five and a half miles long and as wide as a few football fields, but the beach and events remain as large attractions. There are just over 4,000 residents on Daytona Beach Shores, but this tiny city can accommodate up to 30,000 during area events, like the Daytona 500 and Bike Week.
Daytona Beach Shores Homes for Sale

Most single family homes in Daytona Beach range between $300,000 and $700,000. Oceanfront condos in Daytona Beach Shores and residences are plentiful, since this area is almost all ocean-exposed.
One of the popular neighborhoods in Daytona Beach Shores is Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Shore, which contains the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse . This is one of Florida’s many maritime historic landmarks, and marks the junction between the Halifax River and the Atlantic Ocean. Ponce Inlet real estate can be very expensive, with some lots starting in the $200,000s and existing homes running into the high hundred-thousands to the millions. You can find condos available for prices starting in the $400-$500,000s.
Another great neighborhood is Wilbur-by-the-Sea. This area is popular for it’s lack of traffic and protected sea turtle nesting areas. It’s near Ponce Inlet as well as one of the Daytona 500 racetrack turns. Wilbur-by-the-Sea real estate generally runs between $400,000 and the millions.
Harbor Village is another popular neighborhood, and has lots of condo and townhome offerings. Because Daytona Beach Shores is an island, space is at a premium.
