Daytona Beach Entertainment
No matter where you are in Daytona Beach, there is either something going on or someplace that will entertain you. Daytona Beach entertainment ranges from festivals to museums, and residents and visitors alike are welcomed to join all festivities. If you get tired of auto races, displays, parks, and beaches, there is plenty of dining and nightlife as well. Daytona Beach also has a superb selection of theatre attractions, which includes both cinema and live performances.

Daytona Beach has its share of shopping centers. Bellaire Plaza and Riverfront Marketplace both offer specialized shopping, dining, and salons. At International Speedway SquareVolusia Mall you can find most of the chain stores you have come to rely on. You can also find those same shops at and Sunshine Park Mall.
Daytona Beach has a large selection of specialty shopping as well, from art galleries to candy stores. The internet is a wonderful place to find just the right Daytona Beach shops for special gifts and needs.
Daytona Beach Festivals
There are festivities throughout the year in this seaside city. Here is a short list of some of the favorites.
Red, White, & Brew. On the Saturday before Memorial Day, Main Street becomes a block party and features all kinds of brew, food, activities for children, and more.
Bike Week & Biketoberfest. These motorcycle festivals are favorites for the bikers. There will be bike shows, rallies, and an auction at the Daytona International Speedway. Lots of food and music as well.
Florida International Festival. Featuring the London Symphony Orchestra, this festival runs in mid-summer at various venues and concert halls.
Waterfront Art Festival. In September artists will set up displays throughout the Inlet Harbor Restaurant and Marina. There will also be plenty of photographic art, crafts, and jewelry, as well as plenty to eat and drink.
Other Daytona Beach Entertainment
There are lots of other types of entertainment in Daytona Beach beyond festivals and music. Daytona Beach has an active theatre community, and you can attend performances at the Daytona Playhouse, Seaside Musical Theatre, and Peabody Auditorium. Don’t miss the many museums in Daytona Beach: Daytona Museum of Arts & Science and the Halifax Historical museum are two local favorites.
And when you get tired of all the activity, you simply take a short drive and--you guessed it--go to the beach.
